Artist's Comments
This is one of a series of photographs I took for my AP Portfolio concentration. I used the photos to draw a high contrast colored pencil drawing on black grounds, yadda yadda.
It's a pretty plain pose, but the lighting was great. And such an intense gaze. O.o I accidentally made her look a little sinister in the final piece. Arguably the best photograph, but the worst final piece. It made me very sad. It came out so-so because I was trying to rush carbothello pencils. I just switched all of a sudden, instead of sticking with colored pencials. While it bork the monotony, it just didn't work. >.< I want to do this one over, someday. |
